Trivia: At least twenty civilian refugee / survivor extras were carefully made up to look horribly wounded. Make-up technicians simulated large bleeding wounds, third-degree burns, and melted flesh. In the final version, the wounded survivors’ scenes were cut and the film earned a mild PG-13 rating.
Goofs: Continuity: After they swim across the Hudson River and Rachel starts to get up to run, she isn’t wearing her sleeveless purple hoody and none of the others has it, but a few scenes later, she’s wearing it again walking along with Robbie and her Dad
